Delivery Services

Löyly provides professional delivery of premium outdoor saunas throughout our nominated service areas across Australia's east coast.

Our standard delivery service currently extends from Port Douglas, Queensland, to Port Macquarie, New South Wales. Deliveries outside these areas may be available upon request and will be subject to individual assessment and additional freight charges where applicable.

Delivery dates provided by Löyly are estimates only. While we make every effort to meet agreed delivery schedules, unforeseen circumstances including weather events, transport delays, supplier issues or circumstances beyond our reasonable control may result in changes to delivery timing.

Löyly will keep you informed of any significant delays and work with you to arrange a suitable revised delivery date.

Delivery Scheduling

Once your sauna is ready for dispatch, our team will contact you to arrange a mutually convenient delivery and installation date.

Customers agree to:

  • provide accurate contact details;

  • remain available during the scheduling process;

  • notify Löyly promptly if they are unavailable on the proposed date.

Delivery dates are confirmed only after written confirmation from Löyly.

Site Access Requirements

It is the Customer's responsibility to ensure the installation site is reasonably accessible prior to delivery.

Before confirming delivery, customers must advise Löyly of any site conditions that may affect access, including but not limited to:

  • steep driveways;

  • narrow pathways;

  • stairs;

  • retaining walls;

  • soft ground;

  • overhead obstructions;

  • low tree branches;

  • gates;

  • restricted vehicle access;

  • limited turning areas;

  • underground services.

Failure to disclose access restrictions may result in additional labour, specialised equipment or rescheduling costs.

Where safe access cannot be achieved, Löyly reserves the right to postpone delivery until suitable arrangements have been made.

Customer Site Preparation

Prior to delivery, the Customer must ensure:

  • the installation location has been prepared;

  • the site is level and capable of supporting the weight of the sauna;

  • all required foundations, slabs, decking or structural supports have been completed;

  • access pathways are clear and safe;

  • pets are secured;

  • children are supervised;

  • any required council approvals have been obtained where applicable.

Löyly reserves the right to refuse installation where the site is deemed unsafe or unsuitable.

Any additional attendance required due to incomplete site preparation may incur additional charges.

Delivery Day

On the scheduled delivery day, the Customer or an authorised representative aged over 18 years must be present unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Our delivery team will:

  • safely transport the Product;

  • unload the sauna using appropriate equipment;

  • inspect the Product for any obvious transport damage;

  • position the sauna ready for installation where practical.

Customers should inspect the Product upon delivery and notify Löyly immediately of any visible concerns.

Delivery Delays

Löyly will not be liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including:

  • severe weather;

  • road closures;

  • transport disruptions;

  • supplier delays;

  • industrial action;

  • government restrictions;

  • natural disasters;

  • vehicle breakdowns;

  • accidents.

Where delays occur, Löyly will use reasonable efforts to complete delivery as soon as practicable.

Failed Deliveries

Where delivery cannot be completed because:

  • no person is available to provide access;

  • site preparation has not been completed;

  • access restrictions prevent safe delivery;

  • incorrect delivery information has been supplied;

  • the Customer requests postponement after goods are in transit,

additional delivery, transport, storage or labour charges may apply.

All electrical work must comply with Australian Standards and applicable State legislation.

Löyly accepts no responsibility for delays resulting from incomplete electrical works.

Installation Timeframes

Installation time varies depending on:

  • sauna model;

  • site conditions;

  • weather;

  • accessibility;

  • additional options selected.

While many installations are completed within a single day, larger or more complex installations may require additional time.

The Customer agrees to:

  • provide unrestricted access to the installation area;

  • ensure a safe working environment;

  • keep children and pets away from the work area;

  • ensure all required approvals have been obtained;

Where installers determine conditions are unsafe, installation may be postponed until hazards have been rectified.

Changes During Installation

If the Customer requests additional work outside the agreed scope, including relocation of the sauna, additional assembly works or modifications, Löyly may:

  • provide a revised quotation;

  • charge additional labour;

  • reschedule completion if required.

Additional work will only proceed following Customer approval.

Completion of Installation

Upon completion, Löyly will inspect the installation to ensure it meets our quality standards.

The Customer will have the opportunity to inspect the completed sauna.

Any concerns should be raised before our installation team leaves the property where reasonably practicable.

Minor cosmetic variations associated with natural timber products do not constitute defects.

Ownership and Risk

Ownership of the Product passes to the Customer only after full payment has been received.

Risk in the Product transfers to the Customer upon completion of delivery to the nominated address.

Where installation is included, Löyly remains responsible for exercising reasonable care while handling and assembling the Product until installation has been completed.

Storage

If delivery or installation must be postponed after Products have been prepared for dispatch due to Customer-related reasons, Löyly may charge reasonable storage fees.

Where storage extends beyond 30 days, Löyly reserves the right to require payment in full before rescheduling delivery.
